I really love and appreciate the State of Illinois Child Development Center. It has been a great experience for my son. He was basically non verbal when he began going to the center, now his speech has definitely improved (I can’t get him to be quiet anymore.. lol) that now he knows all of his colors, ABC’s, weekdays and can count to 100. My son has been attending Kandiland his entire life. The staff absolutely loves him and he truly enjoys going to school every day. The teachers are consistently wonderful. The teachers are always coming up with fun and creative things for the kids to do, and they really do so much to foster an environment where the kids can really flourish. It’s so easy for the parents to become friends as well, and get the kids together outside of the school. We absolutely love Kandiland for our son and will be genuinely sad when he ages out.

My children have been attending this daycare for almost two years and I am beyond pleased with the treatment of the kids. The staff makes me feel like my boys are part of their family. They follow an education curriculum with plenty of outside time. They have fun activities they plan for the kiddos and host extracurricular classes or events geared for different ages. They use a wonderful app that allows you to message the teachers with questions and they are always happy to answer. Kandiland checks all the boxes for me and I highly recommend them.

My daughter is in the infant room and my son is in the afterschool program. We love this center. The teachers in the infant room are phenomenal, their communication style is top notch. They really love and care for these babies like they are their own. I could not say enough good things about the director Kelly she is caring, accommodating and has your families best interest at heart. I have never felt like my children and I were a tuition check, I truly trust that my children are in the best hands there.

My daughter started Kaniland about a month ago and I have nothing but AMAZING things to say. Daycare can be scary for a first time mom like me but Kandiland is always reassuring that they’re taking great care of my sweet baby. She has already learned so much from this school and is upset when she has to leave at the end of the day. Kandiland has been amazing, my son has been going since January of this year and i was afraid because we had made such a big move for our whole family and didn’t know how he would do. I can’t say enough good things about this place. My wife and I have been sending our kids to Kandiland for thee years now (since they were infants). They communicate very well. They clearly care about the kids. They’re respectful and they don’t let parents walk all over them when there’s an issue. I feel 100% safe sending my kids there. The place is clean, they don’t tolerate biting or kids being sick. This place has been a real blessing! Ps. They’re affordable too. Very reasonably priced.

I enrolled my son here at Kandiland Westover. My son has absolutely blossomed and just been so happy ever since we enrolled. He stated self feeding and eating well. Is napping and sleeping consistently which was always a struggle. Vaneel has been so wonderful everyday making sure my questions are answered and protected my son when she didn't recognize someone to get him! I am so looking forward to many more years with my son here and deepening our family bond at Kandiland!

I have both my boys at Kandiland for the the past 2 years (2018) for MDO and pre school and love it. They genuinely love and care about my children. They remained open with a new protocol with covid and that was so wonderful for my children to have that structure and normalcy in a safe learning environment when everything else had changed. They are wonderful at communicating with parents about events and activities that are going on to make each day fun and exciting for my kids.

I had sooo many doubts about putting my baby in day care with this crazy world and the people in it!!! But the ladies at raising stars are amazing!!! Kamilla adores them and I feel comfortable with her going there. The app that they have to see what my baby does through out the day is awesome. I'm obsessed with the app!!
